This fall, we will let our TRUE COLORS shine through in an innovative program combining singing and storytelling. Framed by music connected to the colors of the rainbow, the concert will feature true stories as written and performed by you!
In addition to music rehearsal led by Artistic Director Ryan José LaBoy, our fall cycle will include a series of storytelling workshops facilitated by soprano and storyteller-educator Allison Lerman-Gluck. Selections will include The Muppets’ Rainbow Connection, Cyndi Lauper’s True Colors, Sara Bareilles’ Kaleidoscope Heart and more!
- Rehearsals begin Thursday, September 3rd, and take place every Thursday night 7:00–9:00pm at Zion Lutheran Church of Pittsfield (74 First Street in Pittsfield)
- A required dress rehearsal will take place Thursday, November 12th
- Performances will be Saturday, November 14th and Sunday, November 15th
- There will be a few other optional (but encouraged) weekend gatherings/rehearsals that will be announced
Berkshire Concert Choir is always ready to welcome new members. We are a non-auditioned choir, open to all singers, high school age or older, at any level of experience and skill, who are committed to hard work and the joy of singing.

Rehearsals
Berkshire Concert Choir rehearses on Thursdays from 7:00 to 9:00 pm in Pittsfield, MA. If you need support with transportation to rehearsals, email info@berkshireconcertchoir.org to get connected to possible carpooling partners.
Dues
Individual membership dues are $75 per semester. You can pay by credit card through the online registration form, or bring a check made out to “Berkshire Concert Choir, Inc.” to the first or second rehearsal, or mail it to P.O. Box 452, Pittsfield, MA 01202.
If membership dues present a barrier for you, please email info@berkshireconcertchoir.org. We will arrange coverage for your dues.
Performances
Berkshire Concert Choir prepares and presents two major concerts each season: November and May. In addition, the choir may be invited to participate in other community events. Concert dates, programs and rehearsal schedules will be announced at the beginning of each semester.
We also host Community Sings throughout the year to bring together singers from the wider community.
