Up Next: Sacred Place

November 15 & 16, 2025
An intimate and immersive concert considering creation through the lens of Jewish culture.

SACRED PLACE offers the audience an intimate and immersive concert experience performed by singers in the round. Inspired by Jewish culture and faith, the program features Eric Whitacre’s Five Hebrew Love Songs, Alex Berko’s Sacred Place, and Stephen Paulus’s Hymn to the Eternal Flame. Audience members will be invited to contemplatively walk a labyrinth during the concert to more deeply experience the music. Listen to a playlist.

Rehearsals begin Thursday, September 4th, 7:00-9:00pm at Zion Lutheran Church (74 First Street in Pittsfield).

Register here to join the choir for Fall 2025.

If you have questions about the concert or choir membership, email info@berkshireconcertchoir.org.

Performances

Berkshire Concert Choir prepares and presents two major concerts each season: November and May. In addition, the choir may be invited to participate in other community events. Concert dates, programs and rehearsal schedules will be announced at the beginning of each semester.

We also sponsor two Summer Sings at area churches to bring together singers from the wider community. Combined with a request for non-perishable food items, the Sing benefits local food pantries.
